Torn Diaphragm
It is clear these regulators are not tested before being sold. After setting up all the lines needed and powering up the fuel pump, fuel began to leak out of both the pressure gauge and vacuum port. I decided to take it apart to investigate further. Turns out the diaphragm had a few holes allowing the fuel to leak into the vacuum port. Also, the surfaces for securing the diaphragm (held in place by pressure) were glossy smooth, which means over time the diaphragm would slip out on the joints. I roughed them up with sand paper but then notices the holes. I feel I could have done a better machining job on the inside of the regulator by hand as well. The fittings seem to have been working so I will be keeping them for the time being. As for the regulator itself? I'm just going to through it away and fork out the money for a better one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Piece of junk!!!
For one the regulator has very loose tolerance on the threads. And after installing it would not regulate the pressure. After opening it up and looking at it the diaphragm is held closed between the top cap and the body of the regulator. And the diaphragm it self it very low quality and will tear very easily. Warning!
This product had left over alluminum shavings in the threads that could potentially fall off and enter the fuel system and have devastating results to your engine. Worth the money
While this product is probably made in China It looks to be as good as American made. The only warning I have is don't believe you can run pressures below 30psi, it can't without modification.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
