I bought these filters to fit a 3M 7502 respirator mask because, as a model maker, I can deal with some pretty nasty materials (resins, cellulose, etc.) which can be very harmful to health if inhaled. These filters are designed to trap these substances and I can report that they do. When I'm spraying cellulose paint for instance there is no noticeable smell whilst wearing the respirator, which to me illustrates that no spray is reaching my nose. I can recommend these filters to anyone undertaking work which involves potentially harmful substances.

These filters also come with a proper screw-cap and seal plug at the bottom so there's no chance they are going to start wearing down until you start using them, some industrial filters come open and wrapped in plastic which is quite bad if the bag splits. I would recommend these filters to anyone who wants working filters that are compatible with most modern 40mm respirators.
