This essentially gives you a few hours of the perfect background ambiance for that dinner get-together. Create your own exclusive home theater sounds with this CD player. The PlayXchange mechanism of this CD audio system allows you to change out four CDs without any interruptions. This means the fifth CD can keep playing and your music will not stop while you cue up the next selection. This unit is easy to set up and even easier to use. The unique sophisticated circuitry and layout allow for programming 24 tracks, in any combination, from all discs inserted. Listen to each disc from the first song to the last or choose random play across all discs installed. The repeat option lets you repeat the current track, the current digital album, or all tracks. The super audio fidelity of this player drives three stereo speaker sets. The audio and sound quality of the speakers is exceptional and produces crisp, clear sound. The solid build of this unit and its high sound quality affords high conversion precision with low noise discharge. This kind of precision is possible even when changing CDs. The floating laser pickup mechanism will allow you to hear every nuance of your tunes. Nice CD player
This is a great CD player. So far, I don't have any major complaints. The sound is good, and I like the sleep feature that lets it rest without shutting it down completely. The two drawbacks are these: 1) the buttons are a little hard to read, and 2) it doesn't let you exchange a disc while it is playing another one.

Yamaha CD-C600 CD changer
This is nearly identical to the cd-C603. Well made. Fantastic sound. IMO this is the best cd changer available now. Really good built in DAC. Also you can connect iPhone to front USB jack and play your favorite music app as well as a media thumb drive. This supports lossless codec via wired connection. Awesome sound from Pandora and other music apps.

Elegant minimalistic design but with quality.
I chose this CD changer from that of Onkyo and Sony. The box shows that this unit was produced last year (2018). Though compared with the two, this unit costs a bit more, yet I think I have made the right choice from the moment I operated it. It's silent in operations with a good display panel and it produces all the details of music of my CDs excellently.

The last and the best.
The last cd changer Yamaha made and one of the last made by anyone. It adds the feature of USB input play, must be mP3 files or WMV files. Will not play iTunes m4a files. The unit holds 5 cds in a carousel tray. The display readout is bigger than the 697 was and easier to read. Has either RCA or toslink outputs in back, also remote control and RS232 hookups. Plays cds very well and with cd direct option. May be out of production, all sources have it on backorder indefinitely. Yamaha doesn't look like they will resupply anyone.

This cd changer is easy to set up. I like the multi-disk capability (it will hold 5 disks). It allows you to change out 4 of the disks while one is still playing, or all of them at once. The sound is great connected to a Pioneer amplifier.

Cost a bit, worth every penny.
The best carousel disc changer I've experienced, looks slick, sturdy built. Yamaha put great effort on the component. Runs quiet, great natural 200 bit processing CD sound unavailable from other sources. Now continuing my CD collection. Loving every second of music it plays.

HARD TO FIND CD CHANGER
The CD changer I'd purchased 25+ years ago died and a replacement was difficult to source. The changer moves smoothly and silently from disc to disc. It is connected to my speakers and the sound quality is true in any room that is selected.
