Not as close
Razor received in great shape and in timely fashion. However, the first time I used it, my wife made a comment about me having a 5:00 shadow in the early afternoon. The next morning I shaved half my face with new razor and half with my 8 year old Norelco. We both could tell the difference in closeness with the older Norelco shaving closer. Upon close inspection of new razor, I tightened blade holder and reshaved. It was closer. The other issue is the razor will feel warm to my face about halfway through shaving. I have not tried it with shaving cream as that defeats the purpose of an electric razor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Floating head shaver
Light weight easy to use, the floating head feature conforms to face profile very well and cuts cleanly. Good value, like the travel feature allows you to lock it off so you don't get the buzzing suitcase problem. Also tells you when cleaning is required and when to change heads. Norelco 4500 razor seems a good choice
I'm 77 yrs old and have been using electric razors nearly all my adult life. The last Norelco rotary type was a long time ago. I received my 4500 last week and was really surprised by how quiet it was. It is much quieter than any reciprocating razor I have had but it does a good job of shaving my old wrinkled face. It is a relatively cheap model because I dislike buying over-priced cutters and screens when a modest priced razor can be replaced. Wonderful shaving inovation!
Beautiful and wonderful unit. Too bad that the unit its self is 9 model years old.(2008) Must be New old stock. Sadly the blades and head assembly are no longer made by the manufacturer. Very nice shaver and accessories
This is a very nice shaver for those who like electric razors. I prefer using it "wet" with shaving cream and it does a great job, especially around the chin and neck. So far SO good!
My son needed an electric razor. This fit the bill perfectly.
