Fascinating true story -- and very, very instructive
At a fairly young age, and already a Christian, Johanna became an apprentice to a woman who healed people: what was then called a psychic surgeon. Through clever deception, she never questioned if this was okay with Jesus, and she explains why she felt sure it was okay with her Saviour. But when she started to question -- and test -- the spirits that worked through or with her in these healings, they took off the velvet gloves so to speak. She became under attack by the very spirits which before she had assumed were all good. A great read and a great lesson. Highly recommended. Very informative
Johanna is very informative about her experiences, it is good to know what is out there and infiltrating into the churches. People seem to want the miracles and the supernatural to see the same signs as Jesus did. Jesus warned about seeking those things above Him. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added, also Mark 8:12 seeking signs. Whether you love her approach or not, Johanna Michaelsen's autobiographical spiritual memoir is now something of an evangelical collector's item, as it is out of print. This particular copy was a reasonable value, and in excellent overall condition! There was some yellowing on the pages, but that's to be expected, as the book was published in 1982!
