Wiped off with brake cleaner!
Painted my brake calipers 2 days ago and let them dry/cure then changed the pads. After finishing i sprayed brake cleaner to wipe the dirty fingerprints and paint went straight off. Have I done something wrong? I don't belive so. 2 days is enough for paint to cure ... and brake cleaner is a normal chemical to put on a brake caliper. Lovely colour great finish
I only wish I found this spray before I painted my calipers the normal red that everyone uses. I painted the engine cover, then the plastic that covers the engine then I ordered an induction kit that was supposed to be electric blue but was actually purple so I sprayed that also. Just love the glittery finish and the colour and finding excuses to use more of it.
