Disappointing
I love Doris Day in her early musicals and the later RomComs but this film was made just before the shift... And I don't like it at all , there are no engaging characters (not even DD), no memorable songs , no lovely moments... There is one Bob Fosse dance number that I quite enjoyed but the song spoilt it as it was only OK. Now to the quality of the film, the picture is not good quality, but as the sets& costumes are drab , it seemed appropriate.... Weirdly in some scenes there are " too many people with too much going on " its messy . The price I paid was tiny so I can't complain and I'm so glad I didn't splurge as I'm very unlikely to ever watch again..... I still love DD 😍

I was hoping for subtitles to aid our hearing the dialogue but it didn't detract too much as the musical numbers were superb
