Well made tripod
I've have been using a Benro regularly for the last six years and have found it to be well made and stable. I purchased this one as it has a 'boom' for overhead work such as copying and low level macro and landscape work,the boom also makes it possible to use the tripod to one side with the advantage of not having to 'straddle it as when in a normal upright position,it also allows more angles to to the subject when using a ball head type mount. The boom will hold my D800E with a 90 mm macro lens at almost full horizontal extension when positioned over a tripod leg beneath. The circular leg clamps are preferred as they don't get snagged on branches etc when out in the field,unlike the push type clamps. I opted for the alloy type as it is almost half the cost of the carbon type and holds slightly more load, and not unduly heavy. Came very well packed from SRS Microsystems in an excellent padded carry bag. Very pleased with this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
