    Unlucky - I got a bad item I think.

    One wheel was hopelessly off centre. I spent approx 10 hours trying to dress and true it. I put shims on in the end which is not something you should do. I will have to buy a new wheel shortly I think. So in time and money - a very expensive bench grinder for me.

    I bought my last Sealey 200mm grinder in 1985 and is still going as good as the day I bought it. I just wanted more wheels rather than changing polishing mops. New one is a bit smaller and definitely quieter

    Grinder conversion

    I removed the grinding wheels and replaced them with 200mm polishing mops. With the power advantage above a 6” it makes for a superb peace of robust workshop equipment.
