    Good for the money with considerations

    Once you get the english version of the user guide it is pretty easy to use except for conversion of meters to other units which is relative anyway. Seems to be a little optimistic on the smash factor but again it tells you if it was a good hit or a bad hit and reflects the carry yardage difference. For the price it is a nice unit

    Ball Speed Issue

    I have been using it at the indoor range inside my garage. I usually make my golf shots at least 90% straight. When I use the device, I find out 90% of time it can't sense my ball speed but whenever I make a draw, then the ball speed shows. Why? Has anyone also have the same issue? Please share.

    Problem

    The only problem is that there isn’t instructions in any language other than Japanese. However, it is very easy to use. I install the batteries, look at the pictures and away it goes. Nice little unit. Gives swing speed, ball speed, smash factor and expected ball carry. Works well.

    Atlas GST-5

    Great device. Shows club speed, ball speed and smash factor, (ball speed/club speed) which is the most important number for distance. If you don't improve your ball speed, club head speed is meaningless. Only down side is speeds are meters/sec, not mph, but you get used to that pretty quickly. Highly recommended.

    Wow what a deal

    Easy to use but needs a translation of the manual.

    Works very well for distances. Easy to change clubs and the club list is very extensive. Would be better with an English translation of the manual. Distances are in yards but speeds are m/s, which is a relative catagory. Seems well made.
