This makes it rock solid (we have tested this with 15kgs of weight on top of the canopy without it being clipped to anything and it was as sturdy as a table!). Neutral colours and a very attractive cage!

go that extra mile and get a decent cage
okay, so I will start with the pros of this product. It is a large and spacious cage, suitable for large rats and bigger. delivery speed was fantastic. The cons of the product in a nutshell.. it is flimsy, and poorly made, when I recieved it, the box was battered and torn (was expecting that anyway considering they used interlink/dpd), the box contained a flimsy plastic base, two wooden platforms that had extremely rough edges all over, one ramp and two bolts missing, bent and broken parts that are not supposed to be bent, and there are no clips to hold the cage to the base so it comes off easily. The concept is very good and I like that but because of the overall cheap and rushed quality I am returning it and buying from a tried and tested store, even if the store will be more expensive. I thought maybe I will try a cheaper option for a change and I have been left wishing I had not bothered at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing for the price
For my Syrian hamster, wouldn't recommend for anything bigger than a hamster. Amazing size and good structure, I had to secure the sides as felt they where abit wide and scared that my hamster would escape, had it for nearly a year now and wouldn't think my hamster would want to escape his mansion home! Perfect for my Syrian hamster!
I’ve been looking for a large cage for my hamster as I couldn’t bear to see him in the first one we got, it wasn’t tiny but floor space was quite limited. This cage is perfect for my Syrian hamster. The corners and edges do need to be tightened which is quite hard, we also put some zip ties along the top for extra security - because he managed to escape by squeezing through the gap!!! It’s a wonderful size, plenty of room to fit his house, wheel, toys etc. I would highly recommend this cage, it’s a great price for a fantastic size!

Excellent if properly built...
We love this cage. Yes it feels a bit flimsy when you open the top into position, however, close the hooks at the sides with heavy pliers and its absolutely solid. Lots of space for our hamster to play, run and climb. Highly recommended!

brilliant! two very happy rats!
Good sized cage! Thought it might be a bit flimsy for the price, but it's pretty sturdy with plenty of room for my 2 boys! Only issue is the wooden stairs had a few markings, although it's a soft wood so that is expected- doesn't actually affect the cage! It took a while to build it by myself as it's so large. Value large cage.
This is a large cage and I am using it to house my 3 female rats. Assembly is a little awkward, I did it alone but two people would help I think. Quality is not top notch but it was significantly cheaper and larger than a cage I had seen at PetSmart so is brilliant value.
