A must have for any personal office
Absolutely love this shredder! Granted my first experience wasn't what I expected but it does its job for sure. (It destroyed my necklace, but that was my fault) My boss has this exact shredder and it destroys everything, credit cards YUP, thick magazines YUP , those bulky credit card offers in one go YUP! My #1 tip: Make sure to not overfill the canister, it's a pain to remove the bin is its overfilled and will become a big mess. Tip #2: this shredder means business so make sure that you really want to shred something because once you do its next to impossible to try to get it back. Cross Cut Heavy Duty Shredder?
This supposed be a heavy duty shredder. After trying to shred 3 credit cards it jammed. I had to get a pair of needle nose pliers to get the pieces out so it would shred again. The caution sticker saying risk of fire does not help it's case. It will get hot! It does the job but not for more than 5 min of shredding at a time. The cross cut is not as finely shredded as I would like. It's OK for small jobs. The basket fills up quick. Overall, a good home office shredder for as long as it may last.
Small, powerful, quick shred, but not quiet. Top motor element is heavy and awkward to lift off the shred collection hopper. Minor complaints that I'll get used to in time. It works great for everyday use.
When I purchased this shredder I had a lot of stuff to shred. I tried to shred too many sheets at once and for too long a period of time. When it got too hot, it stopped working until it cooled off, just as the instructions said it would. Now, that I've taken care of all the shredding I needed to catch up on, and only use it a few days a week it works great!! I'm very pleased with it. It shreds plastic credit cards just like it claims. I recommend that you try not to put more than 2-3 sheets of paper through it at once because it tends to bog down, if you do. Adequate shredding for a good price.

Weak Shredder
I wasn't able to shred more than 2-3 pages (at once) of regular paper, tax returns. The shredder gets hot and shuts off after a few minutes, now you have to wait 15-30 minutes to cool of. You also need to use the reverse function a lot to clean the blades. After every 8-10 pages. For shredding a few pages every day this unit is fine. Good product but no more than three sheets at a time
A pretty good product, but certainly does not shed six sheets at a time at a reasonable rate… Anything more than three sheets at a time results in significantly slow and laborious shredding.
