    Not cheap but worth the money IF you use it!

    Easy to charge and lightweight to use. Because it's so light weight I find I get a little too daring with it and forget it's power. Auto greasing chain is easy. Having an extra battery isn't that big of a deal either way unless you are clearing a lot at once and can't wait for a recharge. For me it runs for about 1.5 hours and takes about .5 hours to recharge. I enjoy the half hour breaks. I also own the Echo lawnmower so the battery is always being used. I've heard the more you use the battery the longer it lasts. Also, I own the Royobi 18V chainsaw, which is truly just a trimmer, not a chainsaw. 58V doesn't even compare in power.

    Heavy

    Works great ***BUT I bought thinking it would be lite weight ****but is about same as my gas Husky if same size. Convenient not having gas&oil, pull start.

  • It's A Keeper

    Arrived well packaged and earlier than promised. For a Chinese made unit, this is an impressive saw. It's a tiny bit heavier and noisier than I would like but not at all unreasonable. The bar and chain are less durable than on a comparable gas saw but adequate for this rig if used within its design capabilities. Every experienced saw user knows a new chain stretches ALOT as this one did. I hope the unit turns out to be durable as it's easy and fun to use.

  • Impressive

    It had good reviews, but having a Husky Rancher 44, I thought it might be a toy by comparison. I was wrong. Actually had bought for my wife who loves to cut and trim. Starting a gas saw was too much for her. Instant start, quiet. A chunky thing, about 15 pounds. Not too much for her. Same size as Husky. Not as fast a gas saw, but gets job done. No cons yet. Recommend

  • Thought it was a gas saw

    Wow, I have owned Husk, Stihl, Poulan, and Craftsman chainsaws and this thing is a beast. If it wasnt for the sound you would swear it is a gas saw. Chain maintains tightness, dont have to adjust every time you cut. Very easy to use. Would buy another one!!

  • Great for small homestead.

    Awesome chainsaw. Very good for around 2 acre homestead. Just pick it up and start to work. Between cuttings can just lay it down on ground. Have cut oak limbs up to 8” without issue. Be aware is easily as heavy as gas saw. Battery seems to be very good. I get tired before it does.

  • Good.. But;

    My tree Man used this while his saws were down.. Tried to find a better , since this Oriental chain is marginal i.e .. not up to cutting our 18" tree stumps It's OK for smaller home cutting for it's modest price! We'd like to find "A better chain" upgrade!

  • Great saw!

    Remarkable power for a cordless electric. Similar cutting speed to my neighbors' 16" Stihl which screams and stinks. The battery lasts longer than I do and recharges pretty quickly. I'm using this to clear an undeveloped city (town, really) lot and my neighbors are mostly unaware There's a chain saw running in the neighborhood.

  • Great chainsaw

    A littly big but not heavy to me or bulky at all. Cuts wood like a dream with no noise or breathing 2 cycle smoke fumes while your sawing like the good ole days. Also works right of the shelf everytime unlike has saws. Just buy this, its awesome and i like it better than my greenworks pro 80v one which is good but cheaply made.

  • ECHO 58 Volt 16 inch Chain Saw is an excellent buy!!

    I have used gasoline powered chain saws all my life, and like most people have had to deal with continuously tearing apart the carburetors and cleaning them to get the saws running each season. I decided to try this ECHO 58 Volt chain saw. This is a fantastic saw; cuts through any type of wood like butter, The bar and chain are a bit thinner than most gasoline powered saws, but it doesn't affect the function. I wish they supplied 2 batteries at a reasonable price, so I could be charging one while using the other one (right now a second battery costs almost as much as the saw - about $179.00). For continuous cutting, the 4 amp battery lasts about one hour, so if you had two batteries, you could cut continuously all day long (battery recharges in about one hour). If you are just trimming and then cleaning the trees/limbs (not continuously cutting logs), this saw can last you all day with the one battery. Bottom line: I love this saw and I'm glad I purchased it. I'll likely eventually buy another battery for it.
