Great waffle maker!
This waffle maker is a winner. Makes thin waffles not the thick ones like Belgian waffles. The buzzer could be somewhat louder and stay on longer so the sound grabs your attention better. The different settings can be adjusted for lighter or darker waffles. A thick batter that rises after it is poured into the maker is a must. Excellent quality. One of the metal screw covers fell out, didn't affect the function at all. This is a well built, quality product, made out of steel, not plastic. Waffles don't stick and it's very easy to use. Sure, it costs a little more, but you can't get a product like this for any less. Serious waffle maker
Since my old waffle maker broke, I have been looking for a replacement. However, most of the appliances available in stores just feel cheap and flimsy. Or they are similar to the ones found in hotel breakfast rooms - big and bulky. One look at the All-Clad 99012GT, and you know it plays in a different league. The device looks well made and feels professional; the body is made of stainless steel and not plastic and the plates look serious. Unlike my old waffle maker, this one has several (7) browning settings to cater to your taste. It also has a batter channel to catch overflow which limits the usual dripping. A beep tells you when the waffle is done, which is rather practical. The waffles come out easily and are evenly browned. The All-Clad can be stored upright (lid locks), which is an important space-saving aspect. If you are looking for a well-made product, this is it.
