Protects even outside
I've used this to cover whole wall which had a sceenery painted on it, that has been there for few years now, with only minimal wear. I then decided to try this on a painted garden ornament, and it has now been out 8 months, in all weather conditions. My ornament still looks like it was painted yesterday, I'm very impressed. This is good value for money, and covers more than I expected, but it took a little while to learn to go over my work thinly few times rather than one thicker layer, as it runs leaving streaks if used too much. Warning- do not use with Plasti-kote super paints
I bought this clear coat as it was the same brand and 'type' as the other plasti-kote 'super' branded paints, so assumed it would work well and not have any nasty reaction. Nope, turns out this clear coat is acrylic, and the super paints are enamel ( which isn't stated anywhere on their website ), so as soon as I went to spray this onto dry paint it wrinkled up and ruined hours of work. Be extremely careful what type of paint you spray this over to clear coat it with, you may get a nasty surprise...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
