Don't dash to buy this dashcam - it might not be what you thought it was.
Although branded as a Motorola product, this dashcam is actually marketed and manufactured under licence by UK-based Binatone International Ltd. A company more known for 'budget' domestic electronic devices - unfortunately you don't find out about this arrangement until you unpack the box and read the (very) small print. My complaint is not that it is made in Hong Kong - I'm sure that Motorola would go down the Chinese-made route themselves. The dashcam seems to work fine and the build quality also seems OK, but that is not the point. When it comes to brand-satisfaction and after-purchase support, than I would have preferred to have been with Motorola. It's no wonder that you are not asked to 'register' the product for the guarantee. When I went on the Motorola site I couldn't find it and when I went on to the Binatone site I couldn't find it either - just baby alarms and home CCTV stuff. Good quality dash cams

Unobtrusive and easy to set-up
Can't give five stars because it was a customer return and wasn't boxed. The camera itself is well made from aluminium not plastic. It's a small unit and takes up little screen space but obviously the cable winds around a bit to get to a USB socket. Good value for money
Well, I want to start by saying it's not a full blown, gps high res dash cam. But thats not what I wanted. All I needed was a fairly cheap but good working one. After buying 2 off wish, which turned out to be rubbish very bad quality (vid bit rate) I decided to look about. I came across this Motorola one which caught my eye. It did what I wanted to for a good price. Now, like I said it has no fancy Gps stuff just a simple turn on and record. Yes it has loop recording, night vision, g-force sensor which is pretty standard even in ultra cheap rubbish on wish. (But they work on this one). So my 5 stars are because, for the price your get what says it can do and does it properly.
