Call Blocker
I had an older model which stopped working after about 9 years so bought this one as it was just the same instructions with some variations. Brilliant thing to have and we'll worth the money I paid. Only problem, which wasn't really a problem, was there were instructions for some functions NOT in the instruction booklet. Having used one of these previously I picked up on that quickly, went online and obtained the missing ones. Just a small issue. We'll worth the money....... It works but takes a while to set up
Well it arrived ok and I set it up as well as I could, thinking I had blocked international, withheld and private numbers. " days later I got a call from a withheld number so I re-enabled blocking but a day later it happened again so I tried the alternative way of blocking withheld numbers and that seems to have worked. The block now button works well, I've been pestered every day for months by a couple of Manchester numbers trying to reach the previous owner of my number and they won't believe he's no longer here. Since I blocked them both there has been perfect peace on that front!.. Update after a few months of use, some international numbers still get through sometimes but only occasionally however the most annoying thing is the spam sent by "The CPR Call Blocker Team" to my email address sometimes 2 in one day! The "unsubscribe" link doesn't work, in stead it tries to download a file to my computer! Peace At Last!
The CPR V108 Call Blocker is a great piece of kit. I've had it a couple of weeks now and not one single nuisance call, a drop from 3 or 4 a day to zero .... so good to know all my calls now are genuine. So easy to operate, calls can be blocked at the push of a button or a number keyed in if called while you're out ... neither of which I've had to use yet. Do I recommend it? I certainly do. Peace in our time
Finally, an end to all those annoying cold calls, this little piece of hardware is easy to install and works flawlessly. I have only had 3 calls since I fitted it that were cold calls compared to 4 or 5 a day previously, and to block the new calls was simple, just press the button on top of the device and they are unable to call again. Sanity again

Call blocking made easy
Brilliant device, why pay for choose to refuse serv? You can only block 10 calls with choose to refuse plus choose to refuse can't block withheld,private or unknown numbers but this device can, you could subscribe to "anonymous call reject", but that costs£18 per quarter from plusnet,that's£70 plus a year and a don't believe it blocks unknown numbers either but the CPR blocks them with ease, just read the instructions to setup the CPR Blocker correctly and say goodbye to nuisance calls for good, if you're phone provider claims that there is nothing more they can do other than offer and charge you for choose to refuse and even charge again for anonymous call reject( why should you pay them to block nuisance calls??, they should do it for free but they won't then this is the device for youVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Easy to use

Stop the cold callers
It stops the calls that are not given, great and will also stop others from foreign countries by programming the device. You have more options to pick from to suit they needs and can block calls directly as they happen. If at first ...
There are two line inputs marked Line1 and Line2; there are two outputs marked Tel1 and Tel2. The instructions which came with the item include, "Plug the line into Line1 and the telephone into Tel1". This didn't work. I could use the phone in the normal way but no lights (there are 2 red lights) came on and no calls were blocked. There is no hint in the instructions as to why there are Line2 and Tel2 sockets on the box. So, in experimental mood, I plugged into Line2 and Tel2. As soon as I picked up the phone to dial out both red lights came on. I did an experiment using another phone (my mobile) and blocked my mobile phone. The blocking worked perfectly. I unblocked my mobile following the simple instruction leaflet and it was unblocked. I chose to block all 'number withheld' numbers and, almost miraculously, I have had no 'number withheld' calls since. There are other options about blocking sets of numbers but I haven't tried them. This call blocker does not have a 'white list' (so far as I can tell) but only a 'black list' of up to 100 numbers - plus various options to block sets of numbers. I have only blocked the set 'number withheld' plus a few unwanted but numbered numbers up to now. It works well. It draws its power from the phone line. In summary ... it works but some phones need Line2 and Tel2 so, if at first you don't succeed with Line1 and Tel1 then try Line2 and Tel2. What a great product. Before Call Blocker we were receiving up to six of these calls daily, for New Boilers, New Windows, PPI, Calls perporting to be from TalkTalk and Sky. In the period since installing this little Gadget we have had two and their numbers are now in Call Blocker along with the 200 already installed.
