A great piece of kit
Delivered within 3 days, and a great, value for money piece of kit. I didn’t know what to expect for the money, but it became clear as I set it up that the quality was first class. It was easy (common sense) to set up. I used a couple of nuts and bolts to fix it to my work bench and sharpened 2 chains to razor sharp with ease. I have never used an electric chain sharpener before, but no problem, it was very straightforward. £29.99 well spent. Very good machine for the money
I bought this as I was fed up buying new chains every time I blunted the chainsaw. After all it was not much more expensive than buying a chain and all the hassle of getting to the shops only to find the chain I wanted was not in stock. It's very easy to use once you set it up. I advise screwing it down onto a bench. The instructions are a bit vague but it's not too difficult to understand how it works. Then it's a simple and very quick job to sharpen the chain. Very effective sharpener.
I was a bit sceptical about this given the price. I needn't have worried, the tool works brilliantly and is a marked improvement on hand sharpening as it gives a consistent level of sharpness that is difficult to achieve with hand file. Perfect for home or small workshop.
I recently got a small chainsaw for use at home, having been previously employed in a tool repair and service industry I had in the past used larger versions of this.
