Small but mighty.
The PF500 is a class D amplifier that weights around 11 pounds, so do not expect the huge power delivered by Ampeg's classic 300 watt all tube head which is extremely heavy. I have paired the PF500 up with two Ampeg PF115LF cabs the sound is deep and resonant, and the mid range and treble are all there. I've used Ampeg for over 20 years as I love the deep resonance their equipment delivers. Whilst I've only has this amp for a couple of weeks, it's full of featues, good tones and at under £300 is very competitively priced. Its also light, and that is very welcome as I'm getting older but still want to have a big beefy bass tone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
