Works like its suppose to
I enjoyed using my Alaskan mill for the first time today. I have a 20” bar which gave me a 14” cutting surface. That works fine for the logs I need to mill. It was sturdy, easy to assemble and easy to use. The one complaint I have about it is that the bolts for the clamps that hold the chainsaw bar were welded on the top and not the bottom. This made attaching the chainsaw a little challenging. Otherwise everything else was great.

Haven't gotten to use it yet
Assembly was a pain in the neck, but livable. The clamps for the bar aren't flat, nor were the hex bolts long enough to hold them. Picking up new bolts and grinding down the clamps flat, then I will update my review after I get to use it. So far, you get what you pay for and I should've invested more. Update: got new bolts, these are 5/16-18 3 1/2in bolts and don't fit. No idea how this piece of garbage is threaded, but I cannot find bolts for it. Chainsaw mill

Timber Tuff 24 is a very strong and sturdy piece of equipment
Timber Tuff TMS-24 is a well built portable saw mill. It goes together nicely and is very sturdy. All the materials used in the product are very heavy duty down tot he washers used that are thick and made of stainless steel. Aluminum struts are strong and the unit is solid once it's put together and tightened down on the chainsaw blade. Exceeded expectations for value price
Given the price the quality was above expectations. Easy to use if your chain is sharp and you can use a chainsaw. I used a 2x8 screwed to the log to guide the first cut and it worked great. Was easy from there. 20" bar gave me about 15" max working width.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
