I was amazed at the quality of finish this planet can make to old, cheap unfinished wood. I use a lot of pallet wood and it quickly makes it look like new. Two friends in the village have already been round to use it for their projects, one cleaning up painted wood. The vacuum connection can be a bit tricky in planer mode but after two uses I fit it quite quickly. The stand is nice and tall and very stable.

It's cheap but cheap for a good reason.
Had to hunt down a loose connection before I could even get it working. After that I found the table isn't true to the blade with no way of adjusting it resulting in a very uneven board if you don't flip the stock on each pass. The dust extraction system is also inadequate even when connected to a more than efficient dust vacuum.

Some setup required
Once you get this up and going it does a great job. However the extraction fixture leaves a lot to be desired. Such a struggle getting it underneath, between the surfacer bed and below the cutter block.
