Awesome saw!
I originally purchased the 7 1/4 20v saw and loved it! It has been my go to saw for finish work and being cordless made it even better. After seeing this 120v 12" and knowing it would be as well built as all of my other dewalt tools I decided I had to have it. I've now used it on 2 jobs along with my 60v table saw and I can honestly say I have no use for corded tools anymore. A pair of charged batteries last a full day and has all the power of a corded but the ability to set up anywhere and not have to look for a place to plug in. The feature I really like tho is the cord adapter so you can plug it in if your batteries are dead or plan to be set up for long periods of time and not put the drain on the batteries. I highly recommend this saw along with pretty much any other 20/60v dewalt tools!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mount this and hold on tight!
Where do i begin with the problems of this? First showed up a "little" bit out of bevel adjustment, no big deal. Then i went to cut a piece of 12" wood with it sliding the blade towards the rear of it and it is very had to slide and it stick at the end of the stroke. So the next cut i did i pushed harder so that i would not slide so hard and the thing almost slid off the table? So "clearly" this needs to be mounted to "something" and you just push real hard and you will get your wood cut. Videos show this thing sling real nice but not mine. Some reviewers on "other" sites complain of the same problem. I guess it is a pick of the draw. When you spend this much money though it should work "decent" in my opinion!! I would NOT but this again that is for sure. I am a big Dewalt lover BUT next time i might have to go with someone else on a miter saw.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
