Good at removing yellow tones from blonde hair too. My hairdresser was given a bottle to try. She’d just highlighted my dark blonde hair (which is pretty long) and was told to try it on blonde hair so I asked her to try it on mine - so she did and the result was that my hair didn’t have the yellow tone it has when it’s highlighted!Concentrated it more on the mid lengths to ends not using as much on top, just in case it was blue tinged. It wasn’t. It worked really well and toned my yellow tones right down. So they’re more silvery/white.

I had a hair dye disaster and was left with a mid brown all over colour but with a VERY orange tinge to it! I read lots of reviews for different products online and this one seemed to be the best. This didn’t work at all for me though and don’t make any difference to the colour. In fact the only thing it did to was dye my hands and scalp a fetching shade of blue!! (To be fair I should have worn gloves as per the instructions but I didn’t have any!) It’s super messy and wasn’t worth all the faff! I ended up looking like a ginger smurf! LOL! That said the company I bought from on EBAY were great, I received the shampoo the next day so would totally recommend them, unfortunately the product itself in my opinion is useless!

It does the job fantastically, this blue shampoo alongside the purple fanola shampoo are a bit drying on the hair hence 4 stars not 5...bit both get my hair a beautiful silver that lasts a good while. I recommend using the fanola nutri care conditioner after using these to help pull the softness back into your hair but I always rate these over any other brand...and I have tried them all

Well it really does the trick of getting rid of those orange tones.Although my hair after one application looked slightly blue.As I continued using a normal shampoo, that faded. Its the type of product that you don't have to use every time,so it's not only efficient it's economical

I bought this shampoo to try and tone my golden routes (I'm blonde) It is rich in blue tone, so much so it's blue/black. Don't be put off by this as it is even better to neutralise tones. It states leave on for 1 minute then wash off, however if your hair is golden like mine was and you want to achieve an ash tone look leave on for longer. I applied it through to my ends for the last few seconds and I've got a real nice ash tone to it with tones of violet. Be careful if your hair is porous as it will grab the hair and you may get violet tones in blonde hair than you hoped for. So if only toning routes put a good conditioner on mid lengths and ends to protect the hair grabbing the colour. If however, you do want these tones then apply it to hair using a bowel and tint brush and apply to damp hair, cover with a plastic hood and leave on for a few minutes, ensuring to monitor the hair throughout to get your desired tone before washing it off. Take caution using this it does stain your hands quite a lot so maybe wear gloves. It did not stain my scalp or forehead when I used it but my hands and nails, so be careful if you have nice nails! The shampoo is excellent value for money. It's a bigger bottle than all the toning shampoos I've ever used. And I like the smell. Use a good conditioner on hair after using this shampoo, especially if your hair is dry. Overall I'm impressed with this little gem I found in eBay. I'm already recommending it to fellow hairdressers..it's great and cheaper than the wholesalers! Read full review
