This DP-cable provides power on the cable pin 20, which don't follow the DisplayPort guidelines, which require that pin 20 be left unconnected. Pin 20 supplies power to external devices, and is provided by any device with power, including computers and monitors. If you connect two powered devices via pin 20, all sorts of bad things can happen as both try to control the voltage on the line. I DEFINITELY DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING THIS CABLE. For me it caused CPU_ERROR since motherboard voltage failsafe prevented system from booting up, I switched back to my old cable which came with the monitor and it worked just fine.

Very good quality cables if i reviewed the cables correctly i would suggest the safety clips to be thicker because when they are mounted on the gpu behind the pc case where there is no visibility it is hard to remove and may cause damage

The cable’s connectivity was awful and couldn’t maintain a picture for more than 2 seconds before the screen went completely black and then appeared again. Waste of time and money.

the display plug has a snap in the socket and has a squeeze button to release it so it can't be pulled out, excellent value for such a well made cable.
