BMW Steering Knock Fix Kit
This is a great little kit sold at a fair price. I was able to fix the knocking issue on my 1 Series F20 myself, rather than spending a fortune at a garage. I feel happy that I have done a proper job using genuine parts. Remember to pack the part and cover it with genuine BMW steering grease (sold separately) and purchase the special three-pronged tool to unscrew the old cover and then tighten the new one afterwards. Bmw 125d repair
Absolutely brilliant, was told the knocking was my steering rack and would be 2800 to repair it. Then found out about this and decided to try it and fix it myself, there are lots of videos on how to do this and finished it under an hour. Car has no more knocks and feels alot better to drive.
