Older version is better!
Pros::it looks swish... I chose another word but Google. Told me off lol. The bleep is now.softer hurrah!! Choosing temp.is a dream. V useful. Cons... White flex. Eeeeeek clashes with my dark grey splash back awful. Grip is awful it's sharp. Edge not good. The pop up that was on lid of older version has been moved to top of handle u have to press it quite hard and it's awkward.... Not great why change it!? The spout is dire. It. Doesn't work like a spout should bad design. I think it's caused by the filter...... As water pours through it. I like it I.im.also.disappointed by the changes that have been made to it. stylish looking and easy to use
We bought it to replace a pervious variable temperature Bosch kettle that had failed, after years of use.. I really like the temp display and touch controls on the base unit, It boils quickly and is fairly quiet. I also like the white and silver colours, as most of that model seemed to be black. the only issue is the water level display, which isn't very clear - being right behind the handle.
