Prepare to travel in the 1940s to meet the Black Knight and discover its origins in our brand new collection of Batman decades figurines! Introduced for the first time in Detective Comics n ° 27 (May 1939), Batman became one of the key characters in the world of comics. The creator and designer Bob Kane notably drew his inspiration from the ornithoptic conceptions of Leonardo da Vinci and expressionist cinema. This Batman figurine in the early 1940s was inspired by the very first appearance of Batman and represents the black knight par excellence. It wears a classic gray suit, a yellow utility belt, a black cap and a cape imitating the shape of the bat wings. The black knight is immortalized as when he stands at the top of a roof on Gotham City and watches over the city, plunged into dark.
