  • You get what you pay for?

It does crush the garlic, but it doesn't squeeze through the holes. Our previous crusher which broke after years of regular use has obviously spoilt us... We are used to putting the cloves in (without peeling) and crushing the garlic so that it spits out through the holes and leaves the skin inside. This crusher literally just crushes the garlic in the little compartment (whether skin is left on or peeled) leaving you to pick it out and chop it up which you could do in the first place. Not really worth it imo

  • Totally useless - thrown it away and got a different one.

The handle ends and the metal bit in the middle of the handles hit each other which stops the garlic being crushed - all it does is squash the garlic into a disc about 2mm thick. An utter wast of money and space. Also the press plate isn't a snug fit in thebowl so when the garlic squashes it oozes out around the edges of the press plate. Would give it zero stars

  • Poor design and quality - utterly useless

It simply does not work as described. The garlic only gets a little squashed - it doesn’t self-peel and it doesn’t emerge as a paste as described, and like a decent quality garlic crusher would do. The poor design means it can never exert enough pressure to fulfil its function. Just don’t waste your money.
