Great quality wok. Provided it is cared for properly, should last many years. Feels really solid and we'll made.
Someone else left a one star review for this item, I can only imagine they should have bought a teflon coated wok for their needs. Carbon steel woks do require some specific treatment, it's not difficult but please watch some YouTube videos about the different types of wok before you mistreat a carbon steel wok and then complain about rust and food sticking. Carbon steel woks are the real deal, what all real Asian cooks use. But they must be "seasoned" before use and properly dried and wiped with oil after every use. Never use detergent to clean a carbon steel wok, only hot water and a brush or sponge scourer. They actually wash really easily with water alone as they get more and more non stick over time as the charred oil residue builds from use.
But like I said, please research the correct way to use and care for it as if it's used incorrectly it will just rust.
Done everything it said to do to a new wok before using it but everything stuck to it. After washing it well it turned to orange rust. I sent a photo to whom I purchased it of and they where lovely & refunded me straight away without question, was most grateful.
