Useful size, decent speed and brightness for gaming, and flat for work too.
We wanted a monitor that would be used by the whole family, with some people combining gaming with doing school work, and others just shopping and browsing the web. We has two different monitors side by side but thought that that was a bit awkward, so one ultrawide seemed a good idea as a replacement. We looked at flat and curved monitors but were concerned that a curved one might be off putting for those of us who mainly wanted to use it for work, and actually went to the Scan shop in Bolton to see a curved ultrawide one in real life, and we just didn't think it would be so good for office tasks.
This one seemed to have all the features we wanted and we found two reviews online that seemed good so we ordered it from Box. It has been very good, coming with a decently adjustable stand, and having a good screen and no dead pixels. The speed and ability to work with g-sync are excellent, things really do look smoother when they are moving compared to my previous main monitor (a Dell that could do 75 Hz) so the gamers are happy. The space on screen is big enough for three portrait windows of about A4 size, so it is really handy for office tasks, and being flat it does not take up so much room on the desk, despite the large size. It is a very good replacement for two normal screens, and we're all satisfied with it.
The only issue we found was that we had to run the cleartype wizard on Windows a couple of times to get small text to appear properly without odd tinted edges.
