The Shack is one of the best movies I have seen to help understand the three persons of God and how much He loves us. The love of "Papa" in this movie is clear, the gift of Jesus to us is also clear and touches my heart deeply. Must see movie of a decade!
I absolutely love this movie! The actors are perfectly chosen for their unique parts and they are truly believable. The sound track is really good too. I think this movie/storyline has a unique ability to open up dialogue with people who normally wouldn’t want to talk about God; is there any more important topics to discuss? I don’t think so! I hope the religious people especially Christians don’t get to hung-up on the characters that play for example the Father; keep an open mind and you will be more apt to be able to eat the meat of the Word and not get chocked on the bones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

amazing movie
I was skeptical at first (films made by or from religious groups are usually pathetic, IMO), but this movie moved me to tears from early on and never let up. They were good tears. It is an allegory, so obviously its not literal. But the way this movie communicates about "God's love and acceptance" doesn't simply fill your head, it fills your heart and communicates to your heart in a way that only art can. Thought Provoking, and a little bit of Hollywood
I did not know what to expect from this film. It looked like a typical "Religious" film, but I really enjoyed it. It made me feel that the way to change the world starts with 1 person changing their view of things. This kind of positive messages is what is needed in this world of violence and hate.
