Reviews"...Cat's melodies and lyrics are disarmingly, deceptively, simple. He seems to fasten without effort onto tunes with a life of their own...", Sound 5 Stars-Classic, Indispensable, 4.5 stars out of 5 -- "Songs such as 'Wild World', the title track and 'Where Do The Children Play' boasted a greater urgency that reflected his growing certainty in his new-found singer-songwriter persona...", "...Cat's melodies and lyrics are disarmingly, deceptively simple. He seems to fasten without effort onto tunes with a life of their own...", "...Classic folk-pop....gorgeously remastered...breathing new life into tunes...while remaining faithful to the albums' original majesty...", 3 stars out of 5 -- "Fan-favourite ‘Wild World’ takes a totally different tack, with a glitzy cabaret sound and oompa jazz; this accordion-assisted version seems more suited to a low-lit burlesque bar...", 4 stars out of 5 -- "TEA FOR THE TILLERMAN was his second album of 1970 and it turned him into an international star..."
Beautifully packaged deluxe 2-disc edition of a classic 70s album i.ve always wanted to get but never got round to ! . Could'nt resist it for the price , hence the purchase , very glad i did , what i've missed all these years . The bonus disc is amazing as well , a songwriter at the peak of his creative powers , very 1970s but has worn the test of time and is still just as relevant today ! .
