Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory’s new studio album is titled “Tales of Us” and was recorded in their studio in the English countryside. The album arrives three years after "Head first" in 2010 and all the songs, except one, are titled with a proper name, creating a cast of characters, protagonists of contemporary tales and love stories. The album was presented live with two shows at the Manchester International Festival on 17 and 18 July where 'Tales of Us' was premiered with the string section of the Royal Northern College of Music orchestra. The band subsequently performed at Somerset House on July 20th and then headlined the main stage at the Lovebox on July 21st. Concerts are also planned in the rest of Europe in autumn. In their sixth album the duo returns to the sophisticated atmos.
