OUT-OF-PRINT 2016 Dutch limited 10-track superb LP pressed on BLUE vinyl, Sting's first rock record in thirteen years, including the song '50,000' written in memory of several famous musicians who passed away that year [Prince, David Bowie, Glenn Frey & Lemmy]; presented in a gatefold picture sleeve with lyric sheet. This example remains sealed from new in the original manufactur's shrink wrap, and therefore mint and unplayed. The original sticker is still attached over shrink on front cover. The jacket is in mint condition (No Cuts, No Ring Wears). An absolutely stunning copy.
Reviews"The sounds of 57TH range from folksy acoustic numbers to epic stadium-fillers, but the record’s most poignant tunes have stories of loss and mourning in common." -- Grade: A-, 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "He offers a kind of travelogue through his own musical past, from the Chaucer-y balladry of 'Heading South on the Great North Road' to 'If You Can't Love Me,' a mordantly Kafkaesque echo of the jazz rock Sting made in the Eighties."

A great album by Sting - his first rock album in over 10 years. Worth paying a little extra for this release - it comes in a gatefold sleeve with lyric insert and it's pressed on blue vinyl. Awesome!
