Reviews4 stars out of 5 -- "With their gift for graceful, erudite and turbulent instrumental music, soundtrack composition is a natural sideline for Mogwai...", 3 stars out of 5 -- "With wistful and occasionally beautiful miniatures. There's still the crackle and roar of amp distortion....The music will haunt you after one hearing."

  • A great soundtrack by an amazing band

Atmospheric, creepy, beautiful music - a fantastic soundtrack to a great show. All Mogwai albums are brilliant but this seems to capture what they're all about even more than their regular studio albums. In the 'vinyl renaissance' the fashion is for very thick heavy records like this 180g one. I'm not convinced - the best sounding albums I have are paper thin 1980s pressings. But once you get past the initial static this still sounds great.
