Ava Gardner was never more alluring than as the half-caste heroine of Bhowani Junction. When she kills a potential rapist in self-defense, Ava is given comfort by Communist insurrectionist Peter Illing, further dividing her fidelities.

  • Bhowani Junction - Romantic Drama During Fall of the British Raj in India.

Quite simply it is a well-acted very entertaining film, set against the days when the British Raj was in decline. Politically it reflects the various factions (some passive others violent) that were active in the road toward Indian independence. I'd describe it as a a romantic/politico film which also address the subject of mixed race.

  • When Duty and Passion conflict

This amazing story filmed in the mid 1950's. Tell the story of India and Pakistan regaining sovereignty of their countries and the love /hate relationship of those mixed blood. Its message is still relevant to this day.
