About this product

Product Information

Director Saabir Khan's KAMBAKHT ISHQ marks a historic first on two levels: it's the first Bollywood feature to include the presence of a major star (Sylvester Stallone) and the first to be shot at a Hollywood studio (Universal) with an elephantine budget (11 million dollars -- a staggering sum by Indian standards). Headlined by the iconic Bollywood couple Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, the film tells of an Indian stuntman who realizes the Hollywood career of his dreams but cannot find the love of his life in Southern California.

  • Riotous fun

Akshay Kumar succeeded again with his comic charisma. I wouldn't have bothered chasing snooty Karina Kapoor, but it makes a ludicrous laugh a minute. This is honestly one of the best comedies I've seen from any country. It's gross slapstick, so if you have any highbrow morals, forget it. It's set in Hollywood with bright colours & larger than life actors. Morally it glamourises womanising & the tacky american materialistic dream, so don't expect to learn values from it; just enjoy the crude fest for what it is.
