Superior value,
This instrument is a superior value. It's a solid, well-made, well toned, easy to play, good looking ukulele whose price makes it readily available to folks who want an affordable 8-string. My 1st ukulele, some years ago, was a Lanikai soprano and I loved it. Really fun addition to the collection of stringed instruments at home! I chose this Uke for the slightly wider than usual neck which makes playing easier with 8 strings, nice sound, very full for a small body and seems to stay in tune fairly well. The price is quite a bit higher than some other 8 string ukes so maybe not for a beginner but I like it!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Can't put it down after lowering the bridge
Anyone shopping for an 8 string ukulele should compare this with the *ahem* cheaper O.S. one. There is only one less expensive and the difference is clear. This has smooth fret edges and *that* does not. The tuning mechanisms feel solid and smooth. There are no flaws indicating poor woodworking. The neck seems straight enough. I would say this is the entry level 8 string uke that people should buy. However, I found the action to be too high. I had the bridge changed and now it's great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
