Quiet if you set the settings right
Depending on what you do with it, it can be insanely quiet. I have a two fan setup, with both fans around 500 RPM until 80 degrees Celsius. I run back tests on MT4, which is single-core intensive. My cpu temps goes up to 69 max.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Awesome cooling fan!
Was a little bigger than I expected but I should read the description better. Super quiet and cools good enough that the fans hardly spin up even when the processor is getting worked hard. First time in all my years of building, my cpu idle temp is lower than the motherboard temp. i ran prime95 on max heat. After an hour @ 16 threads, the highest temp was 55c (65w Ryzen 7 2700). i did not use the paste that came with it, but uses AS5. I pulled a cooler off an 8 year old computer and the AS5 was still a liquid. you may get better temps with the provided paste, but you may need to reapply it every year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Noctua SMASH
Cooler is good, CPU is bad. I've got a 5800x, and must of got the runt of the batch. At idle mid 40s. Put just a little strain, and it bounces to 50-60. But where this cooler shines is maintaining max cpu load. At full load, I topped out at 73c with 100% utilization. Not bad at all. Great cooler overall!
