the nicest, most brilliant, blue of all
I love this plant, but, unfortunately, cannot have it in my garden as it is not fully hardy, and I am down in a dip, frost rolls down the hill and then hangs araound until the temperature goes up. It needs very damp soil, while the earth in my garden is basically sand and chalk, so free-draining. But I gave this as a present to a friend who has a milder garden with some clay in the soil, it has thrived with her, and she really loves it.
