A doctor's take on surviving Auschwitz
Excellent eyewitness account of a Jewish doctor forced to work under the notorious Dr. Mengele at Auschwitz in the crematoriums as part of the sonderkommando. Whereas many testimonies come from the emotional angle of feelings and fear, this book is written just as a doctor would write it: just the blunt facts and details allowing the reader to form their own emotional opinion.
