    Best MP3 player ever made

I was devastated when I accidentally reformatted my Sansa e280 that I had used for years. There is no other MP3 player that compares with this one. Why, oh why did Sansa discontinue them?! I have tried other brands and they are so inferior it is ridiculous. So I was thrilled to find this refurbished one on ebay. It has been wonderful - so easy to use and amazing battery life. I love it!

    A good buy !

I have been using Sansa e260 ,e270 and e280 MP3 players since 2009. Over the years ,I have bought 5 of them and lost 3 . The scroll wheel of the remaining two stopped working recently. I am lucky to find this one with few minor scratches on the screen for $ 30.You need windows media player or windows media center ( windows XP or 7) to sync with this player. Too bad Sansa stopped making them.

  • SanDisk Sansa e280 Digital Media Player

I have owned four of these players. I bought one for parts. In my opinion this is the best mp3 player that SanDisk has made. I primarily listen to audio books on my players. I do have my music synced to one of them. The sound is good, the battery life is good, and overall it is easy to use. I listen to my player as I am doing my housework and/or yard work......I carry it in my shirt pocket. When bending over, to pick things up, I have dropped the player a "million" times and it's like a Timex watch that takes a Licking and keeps on ticking. Finally the back cracked on one of the players, after being dropped on my cement drive several times, and a piece or two broke off.........the player still works fine. I saw a player on eBay that was being sold for parts. I bought it to use the back as a replacement on mine. I finally bought a newer player recently that has more memory and it's good overall but not as good as the E280 model. There are a few things that I like a little better but if given the choice, I'd still vote for the E280.

  • Most Satisfying

Got my first Sansa E280 14 years ago and when it wore out I couldn't find a player that was as easy to use as it So I had to replace it with this one. Only complaint is it is limited to 5000 songs. Sound is great and thanks for the ear buds too.

  • San Disk

The sn disk player is great. a really good and dependable player, my fourth one. All the other three are still working great, and they have a hard life with me, They play in my cars, my sound system at home and even in both of my boats.

  • Don't reformat!!!

When you plug into a USB, you're prompted to reformat. In fact, it says something like "You can't use this device until you reformat." Don't do it, because it ruins the MP3 player and makes it unusable.
