Very handy device for podcasts etc
I find this very useful for listing to podcasts and news while working around the house. You wouldn’t use it in speaker mode while in public because that would just annoy everyone, but in private it’s really handy. The audio quality is definitely not good enough for music, for me anyway, it’s just too tinny. The earbuds are also very handy for music or when you need privacy. The neckband design is comfy and the cable to the buds is lightweight, so you barely feel like you’re attached to anything while using them. Again, the sound quality isn’t very good, but you do get some bass at least.. it’s just loose and nowhere near as good as a semi-decent set of cans or speakers. The convenience makes up for the quality for me though. The battery life is really great and so is call quality. The aux input is an added bonus, but the input area doesn’t allow a lot of cables to fit because it’s recessed a bit and all but the slimmest jack will fit. Would have been awesome if there were a retractable lead that extended out like the buds. Overall I’m happy, but if Bose adds some buds to their neck thing then I’d probably buy that instead (for the sound quality).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I had high hopes for this product.
Nearly 2 months after receiving this product (Lg Studio neckband) the left earbud barely works. I can faintly hear the music in the left earbud, the right ear bud is playing at normal volume. I don’t have a hearing problem, I fully reset my iPhone 7 to make sure it wasn’t a problem with the phone and I checked the volume balance on my phone and it’s in the middle position. This neckband is now useless. I have no need for a half working LG Studio neckband. $136 down the drain. Update: This neckband is now not working at all. Do yourself a favor. Buy them from a retail store and buy the extended warranty.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Personal Preference
Overall, I believe this is a very good product and likely will get some 5 star reviews. I had an LG set before that had the Harmon Kardon speakers. I liked it better. The sound was better and it was louder. I think it may have been the 900 series. I got this one thinking that the ability to have the external speakers would be useful. As it turns out, I never use those and they just make it bulkier. Although this set is comfortable and I like the more flexible and durable casing, it doesn't sit as well around the neck and never looks like it is comfortable and is supposed to be there. The other set sat under my collar in dress clothes and just became and accessory without being overly imposing. Had I not had a cheaper pair before that I found more practical and had better sound, I may have given this one a 5 star rating.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but no cancelling microphone
As the name suggests it is a studio headset. But it would be nice to have a noise cancelling microphone built in. When in a loud room the person on the other end can barely hear you. Amazing
The retractable ear buds, volume knob, battery life, and the loud clean and clear sounding speakers are amazing!! Good enough for listening, great as speaker phone
I use mine in the car exclusively for listening to media and calls, but most important is for calls. To me, I don't need high fidelity for media... If I can hear the spoken word or recognize the tune, it's good enough. For calls, this thing is very clear on both ends. My car is older and not that quiet with all the windows closed, so kudos to LG for getting that right. Voice calls are activated on the right side only which is weird but bearable. For wearing, it's fine, frequently found myself walking out of the car and forgetting to remove it first. I also cannot say that I feel it restrictive to put on or tight around my neck. Great dual headphone/wearable speaker
I really liked the fact that you have the option to use the in ear headphones or just the speakers when you need to be alert of your surroundings. Great for work. Speakers sound super clear very loud only thing i dont like sp much is that you cant really hear much bass but i wasnt expecting much bass anyway.
