A great razor
I bought this to replace a very cheap 3 head rotary razor that fell apart after a couple of months. However, it did well enough to convince me to give up wet shaves and now that I have used this Braun razor I will never go back. It feels solid as a quality item from an established manufacturer should and the shave it gives is first class. It has two foils on it giving each a small radius that gets into those awkward corners by the nose. I have yet to try the sideburn clippers but am in no doubt that they will be perfect. I opted for a foil shaver after trying a rotary one due to the robustness of the foil shaving head compared to the more complex rotary one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stylish but ineffectual
There are a couple of problems with this electric razor. Firstly, the blade doesn't cut very well and it takes several attempts to get a good close finish. Secondly, when the battery runs out it is not possible to simply plug it into the mains to continue shaving (as was the case with previous Braun shavers that I have owned). I have to wait for it to recharge to finish the shave. Not a very useful situation if I was in a hurry to go out, with the possibility of half my face unshaved! The one good point is that the trimmer works quite well (which wasn't the case with my previous Braun).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fast an efficient.
A good shave in under 3 minutes. Up to the standard of other Braun products used. Only thing I would advise manufacturer is to supply in a proper box. Poor shaver
Should have known better when I bought it. You get what you pay for. Price was good and being a Braun I thought it might be O.K. I was so wrong!
