Arcam DV79
I purchased this as a 'cheap' cd player. as equal quality cd players are a lot more money. And what an awesome cd player it is. for the money. Remember this was a £1000 piece of kit when new, I brought this for less than £100 including p&p and I couldn't have got better. So open and smooth. so much more revealing than my previous dedicated cd player also an Arcam the Alpha 7. Feels like it's well built, solid and re-reassuringly heavy. Remote works and the buttons on the machine are very user friendly if you don't have batteries. It also breathes new life in to my old DVD Collection as an added bonus. All in all, and awesome piece of kit, and couldn't recommend any higher if you are after a decent CD Player, and a a cheap price. DO NOT COURIER!!!!
I bought four of these of Ebay only for everyone to be broken. These machines don't travel very well through the delivery system. So my advice is don't buy one unless you can pick it up yourself. Even if you do collect item, make sure you put item of a large soft surface like a duvet . Reason being that large duvet will absorb vibrations and bangs while item is in transit.
