The Canon VT rangefinder camera is a joy to use.
For its age, the rangefinder is bright that enables clear focusing. The full-view settings for 35, 50, and rf has some advantages. (Rf = about 90 mm, I'm told.) Because it is so unusual, the unique film advance mechanism on the base of the camera was a major attraction to me. It works nicely though somewhat awkward initially. This unique camera is a good conversation starter and does the job in the field. I've attached two photos. The first shows the Canon VT rangefinder with a Serenar 50 mm lens. The second is a random shot using the 50mm lens.

Underrated beauty of a Camera
