Rock Shox 30 Silver -a good low cost mountain bike shock fork, with a couple of caveats.
Basically good, for a low-cost shock. Not a high tech "jumping" capable one, but totally adequate for average mountain biking. Notes: the "preload" seems to just keep going around -I can't really tell if it's doing anything(?). Also, be aware that Rock Shox (foolishly) painted the steerer tube, so that your bearing race can't slide into position without sanding it off. I spent about 1/2 hour with emery cloth doing so -rather frustrating, and prolonging the project. And why? My old Quadra 21R that I was replacing had no paint on that part (?!)
