Willie Nelson has spent some years delving into various genre's of music from Reggae, Western Swing to Good Ole Country Music. Country music is what Willie does best, and this will take you back tot he 70's and to the sound that made Willie famous. There is something for everyone, and the pace varies. Freight Train Boogie has to be one of the best tracks he has recorded for a while, and his version of Dark as a Dungeon is very good indeed. If you have been a little bemused with the direction Willie Nelson has gone of late, then fear not, he is back where he belongs, singing good solid country songs with a voice that remains as identifiable as ever. Highly recommend this album to anyone who likes Willies earlier country tracks.
