The ultimate collector s edition of Nazareth s superb 10th album (1979). Remastered, with the assistance of producer/guitarist Manny Charlton, by Tim Turan at Turan Audio for superb sound quality. Original Release Date : 2010.
yes I love this cd , Nazareth are and always will be a good Rocking Band, this show's that here, from the title track No Mean City to the beautiful song May the Sunshine , there is something on this album for everyone. a good Rock album played by a good Rock band , buy it ,play it Loud and enjoy.
This is a very fine rock album with great vocals and sublime guitar work. Will appeal to rock fans of all generations.
Nazareth pulled a master stroke with the addition of SAHB's Zal Cleminson to bolster the axe-work as he compliments Manny Charlton superbly. As always the band are tight and Dan McCafferty's vocals are spot-on. He is so under-rated and deserves far greater recognition. One of the heavier Nazareth albums containing some commercial stompers like 'May The Sunshine' alongside harder rockers like 'Just to get Into It' and 'Simple Solution Pts 1 & 2' , Also features some lovely subtle touches including the ballad 'Star' which is achingly beautiful.
Highly recommended!
