This is a good cross section of his work, and the quality is good especially the early Spencer Davis stuff. Although I have to say, yet again, the version of "gimme some lovin" is NOT the original release. I'm not sure if this story is true but I heard they re-mixed it for a film soundtrack and that ended up being the version that best off's. Any way, I really enjoyed this album, and would say it's well worth getting.
